Silicon (Si) is one of the most abundant elements in the soil, unfortunately it is mostly in the form of quartz and thus unavailable to the plant. Getting silicon to the plant in a usable form for its metabolism is a very difficult task because it is difficult to stabilize silicon ions in solution so that the plant absorbs them before they are chemically bound in the substrate and become unavailable again. This is exactly what ATAMI has achieved in the Silic Boost product.
