This durable, beautifully crafted micro herb tray is perfectly designed for use with Tray2Grow. It has lots of holes in the base to allow water and nutrient solution to be absorbed from below - as required for Tray2Grow in a "Capillary Matting" configuration.

In the “Capillary Matting” configuration, a large rectangular capillary mat (not included in this item) is placed on the Tray2Grow and inserted into the channels. A root control film (not included in this item) is placed over the capillary pad.
Up to two Tray2Grow Micro herb trays can then be placed on top.
The capillary mat absorbs moisture and fertilizer from the hopper. Moisture and fertilizer pass through holes in the base of each micro herb tray into your growing medium and on to water and feed your young plants.
