Boveda is a unique method of maintaining constant humidity in a closed container. Inside the bag is a special salt that can keep the humidity at 58%. Boveda 58% is a mixture of potassium citrate and acetate.

When the ambient humidity is higher, it draws in water, and when the ambient humidity is lower, it releases the water again. The packaging is made of a unique material that functions similarly to reverse osmosis. It can take in and release water molecules while keeping salt in and dirt out. And so Boveda products are able to perfectly hold and bidirectionally regulate constant humidity in a closed container.

This Boveda 58% 8g bag will ensure an optimal constant humidity of 58% for approx. 30 grams of well-dried herbs in a closed container for 3 to 4 months. Before use, just remove the plastic wrap, place the bag in the herb container and seal as tightly as possible. Attention, Boveda is not used to dry moist, not dried herbs.

The durability of Boveda bags depends on several factors - the lifespan is shortened mainly with poorly dried herbs, either too little or too much, or with frequent opening of the container, when the optimal microclimate is disturbed.
