Biological insecticide to control the caterpillars of harmful butterflies (Lepidoptera) on ornamental plants, vegetables, fruit trees, strawberries, etc.
Active ingredient: Bacillus thuringiensis ssp. kurstaki (Bacillus thuringiensis ssp. kurstaki) 32000 IU/mg
How it works: the active substance of the bacterium Bacillus Thuringiensis is activated in the gut of the caterpillars, where it acts as a digestive poison. The caterpillar stops eating within a few tens of minutes and dies within two days. It is harmless to beneficial insects and vertebrates.
What plants and pests is it registered for:
- apple tree, pear tree (shells and buds)
- peach tree
- vine (marbled wrapper, single-striped)
- strawberry, vegetables, spices (butterfly caterpillars)
- ornamental plants and trees (butterfly caterpillars, e.g. boxwood curler)
How to use it:
- by spraying the whole plant when pests appear
- by spraying during the appearance of caterpillars (from egg laying to the 2nd developmental stage of the larva)
- min. the temperature during application must be 15 degrees. C
- without protection period (OL = 0 days)
- application a maximum of 3 times per vegetation
- suitable for organic farming
