Certain amino acids contained in Sugar Royal cause certain reactions in plants, due to which the plants get the impression that they are starting to dry out, therefore they protect themselves from dehydration by increasing the production of resin and also speed up the ripening process.

Sugar Royal induces a feeling of stress from dryness without the threat of actually drying out. By using Sugar Royal, it is possible to shorten the development of the plant from seed to full maturity by up to one week under optimal conditions and a quality and healthy variety.
