The very successful Gro Tank irrigation system ensures continuous transport of nutrients to the roots . The pump is constantly in operation and drains the nutrient solution from the tank into the trough. From there, the solution flows slowly down the roots and the plant can take the nutrients it needs. The rest of the dressing, which the plant does not immediately consume, is returned to the tank and the whole process is repeated.
