Water Detection Sensor (WD-1)

The WD-1 water detector can be used in two ways. First, it can be used to simply monitor a floor or space for possible water leaks. The second method is monitoring to verify water flow.

In this application, the water detector is placed where the water is to appear after the pump is turned on (filling mouth of the tank, place of water supply to the growth medium, etc.). Each output (solenoid or pump) can be "assigned" to a specific WD-1.

Each time the solenoid or pump assigned to the WD-1 activates the Aqua-X, the WD-1 must detect water (with a timed delay interval).

If no water is detected, the Aqua-x system will send an alert to the user notifying them of an "irrigation fault". Up to 25 WD-1s can be connected to one Aqua-x device.
